Security Buzzers
March 5, 2013
Dear SAGE Academy Parents and Visitors,
Chatham County Schools has begun installing security buzzers for all 17 schools across the district. We received our install today, Tuesday, March 5, 2013. All campuses will be securely locked and will only allow entry into the building upon approval. With the newly installed security buzzers, you will need to ring a doorbell, look into the security camera, and state your reason for visiting campus and wait for school personnel to “buzz” you into the building. We hope this will not cause too much of an inconvenience and only create a more safe and secure environment for students, staff and visitors.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we move forward with our new security measures here at SAGE Academy and across the school district. Please bear with us as we master the process. We promise to do our best to still offer an inviting place for all to enter.
Sincerely,
Bobby Dixon
Principal
